Breast Augmentation (enlargement) is performed in our Staten Island, New York, and New Jersey offices. During the Breast Augmentation procedure saline (salt-water) implants are placed underneath the breast and chest muscle to create a completely natural, fuller breast. By performing breast augmentation surgery "Cleavage" becomes more apparent in clothes and bathing suit. INCISIONS
TUBA (trans umbilical breast augmentation) - a hidden incision in the belly button is used to place the breast implants so no scar is seen around the breast itself. This is a wonderful way to enhance the breasts with minimal evidence that a surgery was even performed.
Standard incision - this is placed in the natural crease under the breast and is about one to one and a half inches long. This breast augmentation approach is easy and the incision usually heals to the point where it is almost invisible.
Areola incision - an incision is made around part of the areola and nipple. After healing occurs the incision blends in well and is very difficult to see.
