Dr. Julie Miller attended Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where she received both her MD and PhD degrees. She then received ophthalmology training at the prestigious Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Miller has published several papers in peer reviewed journals in ophthalmic literature. She has also presented research in both national and international meetings. She has been actively involved in the education of residents and medical students. Dr. Miller is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has privileges at JFK Medical Center.
